An excellent book!

I took classes with Edivandro Conforto and Daniel Capaldo Amaral, two of the authors of this book, and like their teaching, the book takes a very deep and intelligent approach to this growing topic in companies. Certainly an essential source of information for anyone studying the subject.

Excellent project management resource!!!

I really like this book. I believe every project manager and every aspiring project manager should read it and absorb it. I bought both the print version and the audio version (Audible). The print version is great because it gives a practical view of the subject, written by specialists on specific topics. That way you get specific perspectives from different experts. Very useful.

Reader review
An excellent handbook for integrating disciplines in the service of large projects

Engineering depends on more than developing specific skills and experience; it often requires integrating the competencies of other professionals and managing sub-goals within large multidisciplinary projects.

This is a well-organized and clearly written guide to managing large projects, using several well-known projects (the Big Dig, Denver International Airport and the International Space Station, for example) to illustrate key concepts. The author even details the organization and coordination involved in putting this book together.
